I started my new job couple weeks ago. I’m working in Dominican University’s Marketing Department as a Junior Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant. Anyone who’s still at school will probably see me around, so definitely say hi sometime. It’s a pretty weird feeling working for the administration that I was going to school under just last May, but it’s definitely an interesting and surprisingly enjoyable experience so far. It definitely feels good to have a job in the industry that should be a nice stepping-stone into the professional world, and additionally I should be able to get my Masters Degree at Dominican for free as long as I work there.

Also, I just realized I forgot to mention that I had one of my Senior Thesis pieces, “Desire”, featured in the reader-submitted section of Layers, a magazine that focuses on Adobe’s product. If you can find the November/December issue anyway, flip to page 23. It’s not very big, but I was definitely excited about it.

As far as the rest of my art goes, I’ve definitely been really busy lately, and while I’ve played around with a lot of things, I haven’t done anything very finished lately. If I get the time, I’ll definitely try to put some more effort into it.
